IT IS AS IT WAS + + +

For a heavily catholic country like the Philippines, Holy Week or the week we remember the sufferings and passion of the Christ has been one of the most important Holidays of the year. More than 80 % of the total population of this country submit themselves to several church activities in order to reflect and ( hopefully ) to redirect themselves in a particular manner that is in accordance to their Catholic Faith.

THE PASSION.
Few Years ago, I was one of the millions of people worldwide who have watched the very controversial movie The Passion of the Christ. Admittedly, my tear glands performed it's natural function.Yes! I cried. And even up to now , this very moment of writing this entry, as i watched some scenes from that movie, i still have a hard time holding up my tears.

ENDLESS and LIMITLESS.
True Love never dies. Jesus' Love is True and perfect. So it never dies. It is endless, unconditional and knows no boundary. Nothing in this world can keep us away from his LOVE.
And that maybe explains why even if we have watched The Passion of the Christ a number of times already, we still are affected by it, we are still moved to tears. Because His Sacrifice of love is endless. IT ALWAYS WILL LINGER on our memory...

IT IS AS IT WAS...
In this season of lent, I believe this is a reminder that Jesus is forever. He Died ON ThaT CROSS thousands of years ago. Yet, He rose to LIFE. His Love is Undying, and NEVER Changing... IT IS AS IT WAS.

For the Love of Work

After i graduated from college, fears of what my future holds for me started to bother me. Hey! i remember when i was still a student that life was as easy as ordering a jollibbee value meal. u just come to school and do the things that your teacher ask you to do. If she says there'll be an exam the next day, we do scan the notes and review our lessons. We do that until we finish our course, until we line up on that graduation stage and receive our diploma. But life in school was not as easy as that in real life. The truth is , several barrels of sweat and tears have poured out making our diploma a hard earned treasure.

And so we graduated.

And the battle begins.

searching for our place in the labor world is as deadly as the world war. I mean not with firearms and armoured tanks but with THINK tanks. People is as fierce as me as we all tried to sell ourselves to our prospective boss. And too glad i found my first job as a laboratory analyst in a brewery company. It was my first real job, so it was my first sight of WHAT and HOW a working industry really looks like.

I never thought i would blend well. Not only with the people i work with but also with the job itself.

I never thought that I will become the person that is as career oriented as i am now. At first, it was all about providing money for myself and buy the things that i want. But now, It's basically giving myself the honour of bestowing a career persona to my being.

FOR THE LOVE OF WORK.

and my dedication paid off when my skills were noticed by another prestigious company. I was very eager to show how interested i was with the job. My way to garnering the said position was as hard as joining SURVIVOR or AMAZING RACE. With God's help, I won as the SOLE SURVIVOR !!!

Though i have fears of working in another environment, with different set of peers and BOSSes, I have become the most comfortable worker i am today. I know how to do my job, I know how to keep my job, and lastly how to make this a great job.

It's all because i did everything...FOR THE LOVE OF WORK.
